Angels like stars filled with eagles
      cover our sight.
Your eyes of darkness
      windows of light.
Your coming to me
      an act of God.
Sainted desire
      the body’s glove.

Through lens of dampness
      meet our souls unshorn,
Drawn like deep water
      from time before.
Our masks torn from us
      merge now as one.
Mirrored creation
      etched in our blood.
